Well there is finally a way to evolve pokemon that evolve through trade without trading!!! I have edited the Pokemon Platinum US Rom to make a new Rom called Pokemon Platinum NTEVO (No trading evolutions). It is up for download from:

1. Download the .zip file and extract it.

2. Rename your save file (.SAV file) which can be found in the Battery folder in NO$GBA emulator to:
Pokemon Platinum NTEVO.SAV

3. Then open ur Pokemon Platinum NTEVO rom in NO$GBA and play on.

3. Your Platinum Save file will be fully compatible with the ROM because the ONLY change I've made is a way to evolve pokemon that evolve through trade without trading. All other pokemon, their evolutions, maps, trainers, events all remain the same as Platinum.

4. You can't exactly call this a hack because only trade evolutions have been edited.

The edited evolutions are listed below:

NOTE : IT IS ONLY THE POKEMON LISTED BELOW WHOSE EVOLUTION PATTERNS HAVE CHANGED. OTHER POKEMON'S EVOLUTION PATTERNS ARE WHAT THEY ARE IN ANY 4th GENERATION GAME.

Kadabra >> Alakazam (evolves at level 42)
Machoke >> Machamp (evolves at level 47)
Graveler >> Golem (evolves at level 45)
Haunter >> Gengar (evolves at level 48)

Poliwhirl >> Politoed (if King's Rock is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Slowpoke >> Slowking (if King's Rock is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Onix >> Steelix (if Metal Coat is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Seadra >> Kingdra (if Dragon Scale is held and levelled up by 1 during night time)
Scyther >> Scizor (if Metal Coat is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Porygon >> Porygon2 (if Up-Grade is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)

Clamperl >> Huntail (if DeepSeaTooth is held and levelled up by 1 during night time)
Clamperl >> Gorebyss (if DeepSeaScale is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)

Rhydon >> Rhyperior (if Protector is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Electabuzz >> Electivire (if Electirizer is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Magmar >> Magmortar (if Magmarizer is held and levelled up by 1 during day time)
Porygon2 >> Porygon-Z (if Dubious Disc is held and levelled up by 1 during night time)

5. This ROM is made for those who don't want to use pokesav to create pokemon. Pokesav is no fun anyway. This kinda gives u a genuine feeling.
